Educational establishments aim to avoid the evacuation of an entire building to ensure minimal disruption to students and teachers. Where there are multiple areas to be protected, our SmartNet system can be set with timer delays to enable verification of an alarm prior to evacuation.

The system’s cause and effect functionality can be used to evacuate zones in a controlled way to reduce uncontrolled evacuation which can cause serious accidents. Visual alarm devices can be installed to aid evacuation for the hearing impaired and disabled, and must be installed to BS5839.
